Health authorities reported that they are ready the 60 health centers, the 5 hospitals, outlying the Social Security Institute and the prisons located in the Central District to celebrate the World TB Day is commemorated on 24 March each year.

A level schools in the catchment areas of 60 health units has been scheduled in conjunction with teachers, students and pupils from schools and colleges: talks on TB, drawing and painting contests, essays, songs, parades and all activities that strengthen students' creativity on the prevention of this disease.
In community health volunteers in coordination with local area health centers will join the active forces and boards, churches and residents of neighborhoods and to provide educational activities and distribution of information materials, advocacy to local loudspeakers to sensitize the population about TB.
The 2011 campaign objectives are to generate and sustain political will at all levels, mobilize partners and allies, promote TB control and care for, provide an opportunity for a promotional activity in tuberculosis increase awareness, commitment and support of the population.
